Silverwood Theme Park will be sold to Atlanta-based Herschend Family Entertainment Corp. for an undisclosed amount, the companies announced Nov. 12.

Just a few steps outside of Silverwood Theme Park in North Idaho, construction crews are building 18 luxury cabins — the second phase of a $13.5 million development that aims to bring higher-end lodging to an area long dominated by recreational vehicle parks and roadside inns.

Skagit Farmers Supply, the Burlington, Washington-based parent company of AFCO Distribution, which has a location in Spokane Valley, has acquired Anchorage, Alaska-based Alaska Mill & Feed.

Just a month after opening, Fratello’s Inc., an Italian sandwich shop in Kendall Yards, has exceeded expectations. The shop has had lines wrapped around the block and the business is already operating at full capacity, says owner Lauren Blumenthal.
