A pair of Spokane Rite Aid stores will close as part of the drugstore chain’s ongoing bankruptcy process, according to documents filed earlier this month with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey.

The stores are located at 12420 N. Division, at the Wandermere Mall retail center in North Spokane, and at 4514 S. Regal, on the South Hill.

Closure dates for the two stores were not announced in the court filing.

The two Spokane locations were listed in a June 6 filing that announced over 200 Rite Aid closures nationwide.

Hundreds of other Rite Aid closures across the U.S. had been announced in various court filings since the retailer filed for its second bankruptcy on May 5.

Among the closures announced last month was the Hayden Rite Aid store, located in the Prairie Shopping Center, at the northwest corner of Prairie Avenue and Government Way.

The Coeur d’Alene store, as well as the seven other Rite Aid locations in Spokane County, have not been included on closure lists, including on the latest list in a June 13 filing.

On June 10, the Tri-Cities Area Journal of Business reported Rite Aid stores in Kennewick and Richland were included in the June 6 filing.
